This is my 50th post!
So how was your day today?
My day today was great! Service was wonderful! We ended the series of studies on the book of Genesis, over a course of.. 9 months? Time passes!
So a few things that kept my thoughts occupied today. The thing is that, when people make mistakes, what do you focus on? Do you focus on the things that the person did wrong? Or are you going to focus on their strengths instead? It’s really something important. Just imagine that you did a mistake, would you prefer others to repeatedly point out your mistake every single chance they get? Or would you appreciate others to encourage you instead?
See, it is but a simple truth. Treat others the way you want them to treat you. On the other hand, only the greatest of people can treat others well even if they were treated badly by them.
One of the hardest things to do was to love others as you love yourself. Are you ever able to love your enemies the way you love yourself? Do you think you can love everybody you meet? I’m sure you can’t.
Another question. If, the person you hated the most were in a life and death situation, and the only person who can save them is you. What would you do?
It is about integrity. To do things because they are right, regardless if there is anybody looking at you or not. That is integrity. Do you have it?
Whether or not if there is anybody looking at you, have the moral strength to do the right things.
6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
7 let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
