Lebenslangerschicksalsschatz is not something that develops over time. It is something that happens instantaneously. It courses through you like the water of a river after a storm, filling you and emptying you all at once. You feel it throughout your body, in your hands, in your heart, in your stomach, in your skin. Have you ever felt this way about someone?

Yeah, I think so.

If you have to think about it, you have not felt it.

And you’re absolutely sure you’ll find that someday?

Of course. Everyone does eventually. You just don’t know when or where.

I only stumbled unto this conversation between Klaus and Ted in HIMYM despite watching the series umpteen times. It’s a little touching, beautiful yet tragically sad all rolled into one. I supposed that is what certain people make us feel, even if it’s someone that is beyond us. No matter.

I’m a little beatific nowadays, as things go for now. I guess sometimes, where do we go matters slightly lesser than where we are now. So, might as well just enjoy the moment.
